So it is a Saturday morning, 13th March, and as G Brothers have confirmed (via Mercedes) this can not be fixed. Well read in to it what you will, but software and hardware can be fixed, so Mercedes take the decision to start decommissioning my car while I’m still driving it. Here was their initial response
I speak with Scott who records a new complaint case, and mentions he’s going to add to the case that I’m looking for a buy back. It makes me wonder whether he has heard of this issue previously; but he’s not giving anything away on that front.
He says the complaint number will be forwarded by email, but the email doesn’t arrive. I’m given a new case number 2-1216279xxxx.
